ACCOUNTABILITY
– IN PRACTICE
Utilising Waste Heat
STEFFCA has implemented an innovative approach
to energy management by repurposing waste heat
from machinery. This heat is redirected to warm
production halls, reducing reliance on natural gas.
Although the initiative covers only a small portion
of total energy use, it highlights STEFFCA’s commitment to optimising resources and cutting emissions
wherever possible.
Responsible Collaboration with Suppliers
STEFFCA primarily works with suppliers based in
Europe who share our vision of responsibility. By prioritising suppliers that provide detailed environmental data and operate in line with ESG standards, we
have achieved greater transparency in our emissions
reporting and strengthened accountability across
the supply chain.
Improved data collection from logistics partners,
combined with targeted efforts in transport optimisation, has led to a documented reduction in
upstream transport emissions between 2022 and
2024.
Insulation That Makes a Difference
STEFFCA’s insulation solutions have directly helped
customers reduce their energy consumption by
15,022,704 kWh – preventing approximately 3,005
tonnes of CO₂ emissions if that energy had been
produced using natural gas.
This serves as a clear example of how our products
support customers in reducing their climate footprint.
