Circular economy and resource ef昀椀ciency
We reuse packaging, sort waste and continuously
work to reduce material waste through ef昀椀cient cutting
technologies and digital nesting.
Emissions from waste generated in operations were
reduced by 51% compared with 2024.
Development in 2025
STEFFCA’s total emissions increased from 1,278
tonnes CO₂e in 2024 to 1,637 tonnes CO₂e in 2025.
Scope 3 amounted to approximately 1,559 tonnes CO₂e,
corresponding to around 95% of total emissions.
The increase is mainly linked to STEFFCA’s growth and
increased activity.
Purchased goods and services increased by 30% as a
result of a higher purchasing level and the acquisition of
SealSupply Europe, which added a new product group.
Capital goods increased signi昀椀cantly as a result of
investments related to the new headquarters.
Upstream transport increased as a result of higher activity,
a greater volume of transport and a more detailed data
foundation.
Results achieved
In 2025, we set our 昀椀rst concrete reduction target. We aim
to reduce our total CO₂e emissions in scope 1 and 2 by
30% by 2030, using our 2022 baseline.
From 2022 to 2025, we reduced our total emissions
in scope 1 and 2 from 89 to 78 tonnes CO₂e. This
corresponds to a reduction of 12.4% towards the target of
30% by 2030.
In 2025, STEFFCA’s insulation jackets contributed to
estimated energy savings of up to 10,290,680 kWh
for customers, corresponding to estimated avoided
emissions of up to 2,058 tonnes CO₂e.
In 2025, we submitted our EcoVadis assessment, and in
2026 we received a bronze medal for the second year in a
row. At the same time, our overall score improved, placing
STEFFCA among the top 22% globally.
Employee commuting increased in line with a higher
number of employees, partly as a result of the acquisition
of SealSupply Europe.
