At STEFFCA, we want to be an inclusive workplace with
room for people with different backgrounds, experiences
and circumstances.
For us, social responsibility is about seeing the potential
in each individual and creating conditions that allow more
people to become part of working life. This has been part
of STEFFCA’s culture from the beginning and remains an
important part of the way we run our business.
An equal part of the team
The social community means a great deal to Stine. She
feels that her colleagues have welcomed her well, and that
she is included in both everyday working life and shared
activities.
Since she started at STEFFCA, she has developed both
professionally and personally. She has become better at
handling changes and unforeseen situations, while also
experiencing greater self-worth and independence.
A working day with structure and meaning
Stine is employed in a 昀氀exi-job position in STEFFCA’s
canteen. She works 12 hours a week across all weekdays
and helps ensure that lunch and the practical routines
around the canteen run smoothly.
For STEFFCA, Stine’s story is a concrete example of
what the right framework, clear tasks and an inclusive
community can mean. When we make room for different
people, we strengthen both the individual and the
STEFFCAhold as a whole.
The 昀椀xed working hours and clear tasks give Stine the
structure she needs. At the same time, her daily presence
means that she is not just there on selected days, but
becomes a natural part of the STEFFCAhold.
9 of our colleagues have been employed after completing skills development or training programmes.
Stine also appreciates the small tasks that arise along
the way. This may include preparing coffee for a meeting,
helping a colleague or making sure that leftover food does
not go to waste. It gives her a sense of contributing and
making a difference in everyday life.
This is a concrete example of how we work to create
opportunities for people with different circumstances and give more people the chance to become part
of working life.
