Martin Steffensen, CEO and co-owner of STEFFCA,
says:
"Since our parents founded STEFFCA back in 1993,

course, we want to carry it forward. That’s why we also
see it as our responsibility to help people on the edge
of the labour market 昀椀nd employment. We have had
great success in hiring this type of employee. It’s amazing to see how they grow with the task and contribute
to STEFFCA, both socially and professionally."
Have you encountered any challenges when hiring people on the margins of the labour market?
“Of course, it takes effort to support people back into
employment, but the positive outcomes far outweigh
the challenges.”
Jimm, who works at STEFFCA in a 昀氀ex job, agrees. He
joined STEFFCA in June 2023 and carries out manual
tasks such as vulcanising O-rings, punching, and visual
inspection of gaskets. For Jimm, the variety of tasks is
one of the things he appreciates the most – it’s what
motivates him to come to work every day.
His relationship with his colleagues also means a great
deal to him – it brings job satisfaction and daily motivation. Jimm highlights that he feels recognised for
the work he does, and that STEFFCA’s strong sense of
community has supported his personal development.
He values being part of something meaningful and
experiencing that his efforts are truly appreciated.
Jimm dreams of staying at STEFFCA for the rest of his
working life. So far, he has only taken one sick day – a
striking contrast to his previous workplaces.
