SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
— IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
STEFFCA is an active part of the local community. For us,
social responsibility is about contributing to communities
and supporting initiatives that create engagement, unity
and opportunities for people.
We therefore support a number of local associations,
sports activities and cultural initiatives. In 2025, we
supported, among others, SUS Håndbold, Nyborg Voldspil,
Bastionen, Nyborg Tamilsk Sports Klub, NGF Fodbold,
Vindinge Håndboldklub and Natteravnene in Nyborg.
Through our sponsorships, we contribute to activities
that bring together children, young people and adults and
create value in the local area. At the same time, we help
support the engagement and volunteer efforts that many
communities are built on.
More than a sponsorship
STEFFCA is also a sponsor of Odense Håndbold’s
women’s team. This is an important partnership that
supports both elite sport and a number of social
initiatives.
As Odense Håndbold’s Sustainability Partner, around 30%
of the sponsorship goes to social projects. This includes
the donation of surplus food from the VIP area to Reden
in Odense, a handball school for girls from Vollsmose,
activities in collaboration with GirlTalk and the project Lys i
mørket, which helps young girls who are outside education
and employment.

The sponsorship re昀氀ects our wish to support initiatives
that create opportunities and make a concrete difference
for people.
Standing together against cancer
Our social responsibility also extends beyond the local
area. In 2025, STEFFCA once again donated DKK 100,000
to Knæk Cancer.
This is an initiative that means a lot to us, also on a
personal level. We have lost the company’s founder to the
disease, and several colleagues have either fought or are
currently 昀椀ghting cancer themselves, whether personally
or through someone close to them.
That is why we stand together with those who are 昀椀ghting,
those who have lost someone, and the hope for a future
with better treatment and more opportunities.
When the idea for the initiative came up, several
colleagues spontaneously contributed and helped develop
STEFFCA’s own Knæk Cancer logo. The logo was created
from gaskets and seals found on the shelves in production
and in the warehouse. It is a good example of the culture
we want to preserve, where we help each other and pull
together.
We hope that our contribution, together with the rest of
Denmark’s efforts, can support more research, better
treatment and help for people affected by the disease.
