Responsible Consumption and Production
We produce with a focus on responsibility and are
dedicated to minimising resource consumption in the
manufacturing process. The goal is to reduce environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle.
3. Waste reduction
We have implemented waste management systems in
accordance with the Waste Regulation to improve our
waste handling and increase recycling rates.
We maximise the use of our raw materials to minimise
waste. Additionally, we prioritise replacing our machinery with new, high-tech machines to improve energy
and resource ef昀椀ciency.
Key initiatives:
1. Ef昀椀cient production processes
STEFFCA is committed to reducing resource consumption. We primarily heat our production halls using
surplus heat from our machinery, which is redirected to
other halls for heating purposes. These initiatives not
only reduce our environmental footprint but also ensure
a more optimal use of our resources.

Climate Actions
Climate action is a central part of STEFFCA’s work. We
actively engage with the UN's Sustainable Development
Goal 13 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support global efforts to combat climate change.
Key initiatives:
Additionally, STEFFCA has taken concrete steps to
optimise packaging usage by reducing material consumption and implementing recycling initiatives. These
actions ensure that our production processes align
with the principles of sustainability and responsible
consumption.
2. Responsible materials
We prioritise sourcing raw materials from responsible
suppliers who work with environmental data and adhere to responsible standards. Our key suppliers have
signed STEFFCA's Supplier Code of Conduct, ensuring
that sustainability is integrated across our entire supply
chain.
STEFFCA prioritises suppliers from Europe, which reduces the environmental impact of transportation and
supports the regional economy. This approach re昀氀ects
our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of
material supply and ensuring ethical and responsible
sourcing.
1. CO2 Emission Management
• Comprehensive reporting of Scope 1, 2, and 3
emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas
Protocol.
• Achieved a 21% reduction in total emissions in 2024
compared to the baseline year of 2022.
2. Optimisation of Energy Consumption
• Transition to energy-ef昀椀cient systems.
• Utilisation of waste heat from machinery to heat
production halls.
3. Climate Impact for Customers
• Products such as insulation solutions have helped our
customers save 15,022,704 kWh of energy, equivalent
to the annual energy consumption of 2,692 Danish
households.
4. Future Initiatives
• Expansion of renewable energy usage across our
operations.
• Strengthened collaboration with suppliers to ensure
responsible solutions.
