ESG
– ACCOUNTING POLICIES
General characteristics of own
workforce:
The number of employees is calculated as headcount as at 31 December in the reporting year, based on data from the company’s HR system. The breakdown by contract
type and geography is based on employee records. Gender distribution is calculated for permanent employees.
Formula: Number of employees = sum of active employees as at 31 December. HR is the data owner.
Full-time equivalents (FTE):
FTE is calculated as the employees’ total working time during the period, converted into full-time equivalents.
Formula: FTE = (Total working hours during the year) / (Annual full-time norm (1,924)). HR is the data owner.
Employee turnover:
Employee turnover measures the number of employee departures in relation to the average workforce. The average number of employees is calculated as: (number of employees in January + number of employees in December) / 2. Formula: Employee turnover (%) = (number of employee departures / average number of employees) × 100.
HR is the data owner.
External workers
(temporary workers, etc.):
The number of temporary agency workers is calculated as the number of registered external workers during the reporting period.
HR is the data owner.
Health and safety:
Workplace accidents and fatalities are recorded on an ongoing basis and calculated as the number of incidents during the reporting period. HR/the occupational health and
safety organisation is the data owner.
Information on minimum wage:
Information on wages and collective bargaining coverage is based on a review of employment contracts and payroll data. STEFFCA is not covered by a collective agreement,
but wages are assessed against relevant industry minimum levels and are above these levels. Formula: Share ≥ relevant industry minimum level = (number of employees
with wages ≥ relevant industry minimum level / total number of employees) × 100. HR is the data owner.
Average training hours per
employee:
Training hours are calculated based on registered course and training activities in 2025. Training and development activities during the reporting period include, among other
things, DISC workshop, team building and material knowledge. Formulas: Total training hours = Σ (Number of participants × hours per activity). Average per employee = Total
training hours / Number of employees. Average by gender = Total training hours (gender) / Number of employees (gender). HR is the data owner.
