– METHOD AND DATA
Two calculation methods have been applied, depending
on the availability of data:
The emission factors applied in the calculations were
sourced from the following databases:
ACTIVITY-BASED METHOD
This method calculates emissions by multiplying actual
consumption data (e.g. electricity use or the amount
of fuel combusted) by the relevant emission factors. It
provides a higher degree of accuracy and is used when
detailed primary data is available.

EXPENDITURE-BASED METHOD
This method estimates emissions based on the 昀椀nancial
cost of purchased goods or services, using average emission factors per monetary unit. It is typically applied when
activity data is unavailable and provides a reasonable
estimate based on spending patterns.
