Calculation method

Total Scope 1 emissions: 77,985 kg CO2e
•
Application of fuel-speci昀椀c emission factors based on the quantity consumed.
•
Scope 1 emissions have been calculated based on STEFFCA’s actual
consumption data and average industry emission factors.
•
Emission factor units: kg CO₂e/L for petrol and diesel, kg CO₂e/Nm³ for natural
gas, kg CO₂e/kWh for electricity used by hybrid vehicles
•
Data basis: All fuel and electricity consumption from vehicles owned by
STEFFCA, as well as natural gas used for stationary combustion.
•
Sources of emission factors: United States Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) for fuels, Energinet for electricity
Total: Sum of all reported emissions.
