Calculation method
Scope 1 emissions have been calculated based on STEFFCA’s actual consumption of fuel and
natural gas, using relevant fuel-speci昀椀c emission factors. The data foundation includes fuel
consumption from vehicles owned or controlled by STEFFCA, as well as natural gas used for
stationary combustion.
Fuel data is based on fuel card records and invoice data, while the emission factors are based
on the UK Government GHG Conversion Factors for Company Reporting.
No signi昀椀cant process emissions or fugitive emissions have been identi昀椀ed that need to be
included separately in the scope 1 inventory.
