– CARBON FOOTPRINT
STEFFCA’s insulation solutions help reduce heat loss from
technical installations and industrial processes. When
the insulation is adapted to the speci昀椀c installation, it can
help reduce the customer’s energy consumption, operating
costs and emissions.
For the relevant insulation projects completed in 2025, we
have calculated total energy savings of up to 10,290,680
kWh for our customers. This corresponds to estimated
avoided emissions of up to approximately 2,058 tonnes
CO₂e.
To put the energy savings into perspective, it is roughly
equivalent to the annual energy consumption for space
heating and domestic hot water in around 700 average
Danish households.

Our customised insulation jackets have been tested by
the Danish Technological Institute. The calculations are
based on the speci昀椀c installations and the energy sources
typically used in the processes, such as natural gas.
The 昀椀gures should therefore be seen as an estimate of the
effect the insulation solutions can have for customers.
The savings are not included as a reduction in STEFFCA’s
own GHG inventory. Instead, they show the estimated
effect of the insulation solutions for customers.
