HOW WE WORK WITH
– CLIMATE
At STEFFCA, climate and environmental work is a natural
part of the way we run our business. We map our CO₂e
emissions and continuously work to reduce the carbon
footprint of our own operations and value chain.
Our climate ambition
We aim to reduce our total CO₂e emissions in scope 1 and
2 by 30% by 2030, using 2022 as the baseline.
Our work is based on four key focus areas:
Our gaskets, seals and insulation solutions are developed
for high performance and long service life, helping our
customers optimise their operations.
Gaskets and seals can reduce the risk of leaks, product
loss and downtime. Our insulation solutions can also
contribute to reducing energy consumption and CO₂e
emissions, as well as reducing heat exposure and noise.
In our own operations, we focus on energy ef昀椀ciency,
material consumption, waste, transport and procurement.
At the same time, we are working to improve our data
foundation, so we gain a more precise picture of where
emissions arise and where our initiatives can make the
greatest difference.

Reducing emissions in scope 1 and 2 and improving
the data foundation for scope 3.

Using energy and materials more ef昀椀ciently in
production.

Reducing waste and making better use of raw
materials and residual materials.

Working more closely with suppliers, transport
providers and customers to reduce emissions in the
value chain.
