OUR ROLE IN
– GASKETS, SEALS AND
INSULATION SOLUTIONS
STEFFCA’s role is to ensure that customers receive the
right solution for the speci昀椀c application. We combine
technical advice and material expertise with production in
Nyborg, so solutions are adapted to media, temperatures,
pressure and other operating conditions.
Gaskets and seals help keep installations tight and
reliable, reducing the risk of leaks, product loss and
unplanned downtime.
Insulation solutions can reduce heat loss and energy
consumption in technical installations and industrial
processes. They can also shield hot surfaces, reduce heat
exposure and dampen noise, contributing to safe, stable
and more resource-ef昀椀cient operations as well as a better
working environment.
In 2025, the documented insulation projects contributed
to estimated energy savings of up to 10,290,680 kWh for
customers.

Resource-ef昀椀cient production
In our production in Nyborg, we work to utilise raw
materials as ef昀椀ciently as possible and reduce residual
material. Ef昀椀cient cutting technologies and digital nesting
help us optimise material consumption when producing
gaskets and seals.
Procurement, transport and data quality
Purchased goods and materials account for the largest
share of STEFFCA’s carbon footprint. Upstream transport
and distribution are also signi昀椀cant emissions areas.
We are therefore strengthening the data foundation
for raw materials, materials and transport. We request
more accurate and documented data from suppliers
and transport providers and incorporate it into the GHG
inventory when it is available, comparable and suf昀椀ciently
documented.
